Homework Help is Here!
I often have students requesting extra Math help at recesses, which I am happy to give. There are, however, times when students are at home reviewing concepts, preparing for assessments, or completing homework, when my support is not readily available. Fortunately, there is an online solution!
Students can log on to the Homework Help page from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm, Sunday through Thursday, and receive one-on-one support or guidance in Math. Our goal is to have all students registered to use this service by the end of October.
Students can also join their grade's tutor room to see what questions other students are asking and then watch teachers walk them through the solutions on the group whiteboard.
To register, you will need your child's OEN number (the Ontario Education Number found on your child's report card). This number doesn't change from year to year, so last year's report card will have the number on the top. This service is free and offered by TVO's Independent Learning Centre.
